Chelsea scouts watch Alexander Isak in action ahead of potential transfer move

Borussia Dortmund’s exciting forward Alexander Isak is a target for Chelsea, according to reports.
Isak is on loan in the Netherlands at Willem II and has scored eleven goals in eleven appearances for the Dutch side.
Ten of those goals have come in the 19-year-old’s last six appearances. Being Swedish, Isak being hailed as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovicand has already made three appearances for the international side.
The Mirror claim Chelsea sent scouts to watch Isak in action in his club’s last outing against Ajax.

Isak scored in that game and is continuing to impress on loan from Dortmund.
The teenager signed for Dortmund in January 2017 in a reported £14million deal, as Dortmund beat Real Madrid to his signature.
Real continue to monitor Isak’s progress and would likely challenge Chelsea should the Blues bid for the Swede.

Isak’s long frame not only earned him comparisons with Swedish legend Ibrahimovic, but also the nickname ‘Giraffe’.
With speculation swirling Isak was unhappy with being loaned out to Willem II, the centre-forward revealed he would consider his options at the end of the current campaign.
He said: ‘I want to play for a really big club in a big league. I will see about my near future at the end of this season.’

Chelsea are on the hunt for a young striker capable of developing into a top talent, but their efforts to sign Isak may be blocked by a transfer ban.
The London club are waiting to learn the result of their appeal against a two-window transfer ban handed down by Fifa.
Chelsea though may feel they are in a good position to sign Isak having successfully negotiated with Dortmund over the signing of Christian Pulisic, who will join the Blues this summer.

Sarri also praises the non-Hazards of Chelsea as he looks to rely on them for Europa League

Eden Hazard has dominated all things Chelsea over the last few days, from weekend rumors, to pre-match narratives, to post-match reaction, and of course, the match against West Ham itself, where he scored both of the goals in Chelsea 2-0 win.
But not even Hazard FC — 16 goals and 12 assists to account for 49 per cent of Chelsea’s 57 Premier League goals this season — can function without a supporting cast, whose work Maurizio Sarri highlighted in his post-match comments, although in a more measured assessment than the lavish praise he reserved for Hazard himself.
Sarri surprised many — in a good way — by making just two changes to the team that beat Brighton last Wednesday, dropping Giroud for Higuain at center forward and Christensen for Rudiger at center back. Few would’ve been bold enough to predict a second consecutive Premier League start for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi, which could now mean that they are part of the first-string/weekend group going forward — and that could now mean starts for them next weekend as well, at Anfield against Liverpool.
In the meantime, Chelsea will travel to Prague, where mass rotation to the second-string/midweek group is expected.
That game, away in the Europa League quarterfinals, follows just 72 hours after the final whistle at Stamford Bridge, while the game at Anfield follows just 72 hours after that. If Sarri’s previous patterns hold true, there will be very few players who play consecutive games this week, let alone all three scheduled in the span of these seven days.

Small blip at Everton aside, Chelsea seem to be hitting the right form at the right time, and Sarri looks to be pressing the right buttons as well. With a maximum of 10 games left in all competitions, our Champions League destiny for next season is in our hands.
